UN ESCAP roundtable on water scarcity

Roundtable on addressing water scarcity through cost effective and innovative Responsible Business Practices in the resort industry

Ruth Mathews has been invited to present on how Water Footprint Assessment can help the resort industry in southeast Asia deal with growing water scarcity and more frequent droughts at this meeting, which aims to develop a programme and guide on regional cooperation and national actions to improve the adoption and implementation of Responsible Business Practices in the resort industry and to effectively address water scarcity in particular.

The meeting will seek synergies for public-private sector partnerships to address water scarcity and provide an opportunity for the business sector to engage with wider Responsible Business Practices processes.
