The first meeting of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Task Force on Innovation and Competitiveness will be held at the C-asean, Bangkok on 1st November 2015. Participants will discuss their current and planned activities prior to the formal SBN meeting on Monday 2nd November.
At 11:30 to 12:00, Ruth Mathews, Executive Director, Water Footprint Network will give a presentation entitled: “Driving Innovation Through Water Footprint Assessment: Case Studies from South Asia”.
Other task forces that are expected to meet: Digital Economy; Disaster Risk Reduction, Banking and Finance, Green Business, Micro- and Small and Medium-Enterprises, Trade and Transport Facilitation.
This event is being organised as part of the Fourth Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Week, 2nd-6th November, 2015.
